There's a stock I'm watching right now. We're currently week 4 of 4 weeks of flat candlesticks. Week 5 started with a slight pullback, then on Friday of week 5 it rocketed. The volume is pretty low so this looks like accumulation to me. We'll talk about it this weekend 🤫

Uphold ran a rewards program where users earned yield on held stablecoins (like USDC, PYUSD, RLUSD, and USBC itself). For a period, those rewards were paid out in USBC (at a 1:1 conversion ratio for other stablecoins).
Later, Uphold updated the program so all stablecoin rewards are now paid directly in RLUSD (Ripple's USD stablecoin) at a 1:1 ratio.
USBC itself is a tokenized USD deposit product (not a traditional algorithmic or collateralized stablecoin like USDC/RLUSD). It's issued in partnership with Vast Bank (more on that below) and distributed via Uphold.
Uphold: Cross River Bank is explicitly listed as Uphold’s banking partner for U.S. customers. Fiat USD balances and the Uphold Visa Card (issued by Cross River) are held there and FDIC-insured. Cross River handles much of the fiat rails, payments, and compliance backend.
X (formerly Twitter): Cross River also powers banking/payments infrastructure for X, including elements of X Money / payments features (real-time rails, accounts, etc.). It’s one of the banks X partners with for embedded finance and crypto-adjacent services.
This creates a real (if indirect) infrastructure overlap between the two platforms via the same FDIC-insured bank partner that specializes in fintech/crypto.
