If I am reading this right! Anyone with a pending I-485 has to leave the country? That’s probably half a million folks! If not more. And if they would have a million dollar net-worth (which is very likely) we are looking at $500 billion remittance to India.
Homeland Security@DHSgov

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.

@mdc14726 @gremloe Also where did you get the statistic that I will pay more for healthcare in the NL due to taxes. I would love to see the calculations you made there. My taxes btw give me a lot more benefits than yours. Not to mention the difference in education cost!

You're just doing the low IQ comparison. The United States is vastly diverse, in all demographics. That leads to both positives and negatives, but the general outcome is the same: opportunities. QoL is subjective. In the United States, we value freedoms to achieve success versus having a ceiling because we ensure everyone gets something whether they deserve it or not. I make a great living, with zero college education. I work 20ish hours a week, make great money. Preaching to the wrong guy about quality of life. Over our lifetimes, you will spend more on healthcare than me because I have the option to not pay for everyone else's vis taxes. This is the case for anyone making median or above salary and is a responsible healthy adult who cares about their health. Once again, you're driven by the media telling you what it's like over here. Your little bubble on X where people go back and forth about being a patriot isn't every day life. I'd give you an example of how portrayal of the Netherlands and reality is similar, but I can't because I haven't spent a single second wondering what life is like there or what's going on there. Unlike you, who's spending oh so much time focused on somewhere else 😂😂😂

@mdc14726 @gremloe If you look at the world overall, the US is definitely up there in terms of QoL but people need to get rid of this idea that it’s a utopia and the best place to live on earth. BTW we also have freedoms in the Netherlands. We just make sure being poor is not insufferable

@mdc14726 @gremloe The US is vastly diverse that’s exactly why I said that there are states that are great to live in. But on AVERAGE the US is simply unhealthier and works more and has higher crime than other places in the world. Again you guys can’t handle any criticism

@himeseul But then what’s the alternative just war between men and women? I doubt that’s beneficial for either party? Genuinely curious as to how holding this perspective is going to lead to any meaningful societal change

@mdc14726 @gremloe Another difference is that where I live we acknowledge the imperfections and try to talk about them. In USA your collapse of a center has led to a “You’re an american patriot or you’re not” attitude I mean hell your politicians (both sides) don’t even talk about policy anymore

Yet here you are, spending countless time talking about somewhere you don't live. I am sure wherever you live you think it's magical and great and the US is just sooo bad because your precious media tells you that, but at the end of the day the world still revolves around the US, you can still make more $ in the US, innovation is still better in the US, and no serious person pretends otherwise.

@mdc14726 @gremloe There are places in the US I would love to live in but the fact is that if look at the US as a whole it’s not this utopia of freedom it was anymore. And this mindset of “we are richer and smarter” is what stagnates the US in terms of QoL improvements.

@mdc14726 @gremloe Alright I guess that’s just a fundamental difference we have, you believe that you need complete unrefutable evidence to believe something for me if there is at a certain point overwhelming circumstantial evidence against someone I take it as enough. Good luck with your country

That logic is not what the basis of our country or judicial system is founded. Taking very circumstantial context and alluding to guilt is awful logic. All the while at the same time if oring context that doesn't fit your narrative. We're Trump and Epstein friends at one point? Yes. Did their friendship end because Trump kicked him out due to his harassment of a female worker of Trump's? Also yes. So, why is it you use one as "evidence" but the other is ignored? If someone you were friends with 20 years ago commits a crime, no one will look to you like you must also be involved. Give me something credible. Give me something not easily dismissed. It is up to you to prove guilt, that's how it works. Prove being the operative word. I'm not blind to trump not being a great man by my standards. I think he's a typical rich guy tbh, he will have affairs, treats people he doesnt like as if they are beneath him, has an ego and like ANY high powered politician narcissistic traits are inherently a part of getting there. I don't think trump is a role model. I also don't think nutjobs on either side have a shred of logic on how they either praise or hate him. It's absurd. You aren't going to change my mind unless you have something concrete. I don't buy into the "well if you connect these 4 dots then maybe this is true" type of framework.

@mdc14726 @gremloe I think that you think yourself to be some logical middle ground in the middle of everything going on but in this situation I don’t see how a logical person can brush everything off as “coincidence” or “setup”. Even if no smoking gun is found doesent mean it doesent exist

There's thousands of photos of Epstein with countless famous people. That's sort of how it works when you're a financier. Are we just going to ignore the actual fact of how trumps friendship with Epstein ended and why? Also, I noticed you seem to regularly choose to ignore specific questions or points. Why is that? I don't think it's "unlikely" he hasn't sexually assaulted anyone. That's a rationalization to satisfy your wanted outcome, that's all. However, that is irrelevant. What's proven is what matters. So all these 24 women, not one wanted to press charges? That's a wild coincidence. Let me guess though, there's some conspiracy about pay offs, threats, etc as to why. Basically, no.mattwr what, there's an explanation why it must be true but any evidence on the contrary whatehe circumstantial or not, is thrown out. Got it.

@mdc14726 @gremloe Also about Epstein, yes he had business relationships with many people. Trumps relation ship was beyond that. They were clearly friends lmao by the amount of photos, the times he flew in Epstein jet and the maralago recruitment connections. Again common sense right?

@mdc14726 @gremloe “What’s proven is what matters” So you have 100% faith in the justice system to bring rich powerful people to justice? At some point you have to use your common sense that you love so much and realize that just because he has not been arrested doesn’t mean he is innocent.

@mdc14726 @gremloe My entire point is that if you put everything together, the connection with Epstein, the 24 accusers, the way he speaks to women/general lack of respect and clear narcissism. It builds a picture that’s hard to ignore. Could he have not done anything? Sure but unlikely.

Don't you find it odd that 22 of the 24 were allegations made only AFTER he ran for president? Not a single one of these women wanted to accuse him for decades prior? That's a major red flag. Doesn't mean they are lying, but also means they should have creibilit questioned especially concerning the sheer amount of people out there who would love to take trump down. The other two were both dismissed. You'll say paid off. The details are unknown. I'm sorry, but common sense tells me that if you had 20+ accusers and they all didn't bother to tell anyone until after he's a polarizing figure that is absolutely hated by 50% of the country...that screams nonsense to me. It's not like we don't see instances of this happening with athletes and such as well.

@mdc14726 @gremloe We see these things happen with athletes with maybe 1 or 2… 24 is more than a coincidence it suggests a pattern. If you combine that with the pictures of him WITH a known pedophile/sexual abuser. At some point it stops being a coincidence lmao

@mdc14726 @gremloe My entire personality is not being “anti trump” Im not someone who is very left leaning either. The problem with US politics is that you guys have a bipartisan system and both democrats and republicans are tending to either extreme of the political spectrum. Pick the lesser evil

First of all, he didn't lose a civil trial for rape lol. Double check that assertion, in fact he was lexifixally NOT found liable for rape. Second, using anything civil is pointless because there if almost no burden of proof. There is a reason it's civil and not criminal. Accusations from 28 women? Give me all 28 names. Oh wait, that's right, anyone can anonymously accuse someone. I'm not defending anyone's character, I'm defending against poor logic and mental illness level obsession with false narratives. Honestly, I care very little what a presidents character is. Do I care trump slept around with women? Shocker of the world, rich guy sleeps with women. Do I care trump uses crass and petulant language against people? No, I'm an adult. I criticize Trump for plenty, there's many things I disagree with that he's done, said or acted on. The difference between you and I, is i don't t take that and make it my entire political agenda and personality. That's the mental illness part.

@mdc14726 @gremloe Why do you not care if a president uses bad language against people? Is he not supposed to set a standard and remain professional. “Being an adult” does not mean you have to be a dickhead? Sure policy > character, upto a certain point.

Many of you need to change how you view racism. Be like the Indians “You don’t like me fine, I don’t like you either, but you will buy from my shop, eat in my restaurant and rent property from me” 10 years later they are richer than all the working class racists laughing to bank, providing for their family and enjoying with those they love and care about, ignoring the external noise!
