I want things in life, so I’m putting it out there 🧵 I want to write a book, a psychological thriller maybe, something with a plot twist no one saw coming. I don’t care if it’s a best seller, if only one person reads it & loves it then my writer heart will be deliriously happy.

Is it un-Australian of me to be sooo obsessed with peanut butter and jam on toast at the moment? Like I love Vegemite slathered with butter on toast, but she’s coming a close second to peanut butter and strawberry jam at the moment. I feel so guilty 🙊

@Benie_ben2 Yes to cheese and ham, though I like to go a little further. I'm a bit bougie and love quince paste, Mersey Valley cheese, and sliced hot salami 😋

@Benie_ben2 Crackers and peanut butter, I’ve not done that. What types of crackers. I have dipped celery with cream cheese in peanut butter 🙊

@GreenEyesWriter Interesting.... The name sounds like something that would ooze out of your body, so I was like...they spread that on toast?

@aroostookcock It’s an Australian staple that all Aussies had on toast for breakfast growing up, and parents packed Vegemite sandwiches for the kids for school lunch. It’s the most Aussie thing I know lol

@Benie_ben2 You are so missing out! Please do try it. Warm toast, bit of butter, strawberry jam (Bonne Maman strawberry conserve is the best), then crunchy peanut butter = heaven 🤤 I think the un-Australian part is that I was ranking it above the Vegemite lol

@GreenEyesWriter I've never had jam as well, but I definitely hope having a peanut butter sandwich on the reg doesn't include me in the un-australian basket
