Iterating on yesterday's video from Solana, this comes in very well. One of the best and worst thing for blockchain were cryptocurrencies. This is a double edged sword. People / Bots / AI Agents are just selling the same thing over and over again with a new token with the same selling pattern. 99.99% of the memecoins have exactly the same structure, nothing new, nothing innovative. Hard things and solving hard problems is a damn hard to do and it takes a lot of time, even with the best teams and those things are the most valuable, however a memecoin will exceed the marketcap of different ecosystems, just because of total nonsense. And how do you want to bring in retail to the blockchain space when 99.99% of the tokens are scam? When there is so much arrogance and degeneracy going on in some of the communities? When they are reselling the same thing over and over? And when there are so many pyramid schemes as well? DeFi is wonderful, it has amazing properties, but with all the nonsense launched, its value is totally diluted. We can say how wonderful blockchain is, but the percentage of how much of it is just nonsense, scam, probably not legal at all is staggering. Build what is good!

I think everyone has to get back to the core principles. Even Bitcoin. In a lot of senses Solana is more cyberpunk than Ethereum. Ethereum community should have never allowed centralised OP rollup L2s. That was clearly wrong. Or any rollup with small multiSigs which can upgrade and steal anything. Going back to the core principles of blockchain, is to make the blockchain revolution really happen, not to succumb to bigger forces, governments, politicians. Decentralised ledger as a technology can make a lot of processes cheaper, faster and safer. Fixating on price, looses the power of the revolution. Making compromises in decentralisation is definitely a no go. Fixating on getting funding vs creating a better environment for users is again a wrong thing to do. A lot of people forgot that this technology was meant to bank the billions unbanked. Was meant to make Airbnb, Uber, micropayments, shopping just better. Instead we have a new infrastructure project coming up every few months, projects flocking that to get funding, airdrop farmers goes next, and DeFi farmers after. Segregating/fragmenting everything on Ethereum should have not happened. Special L2s could have live on a scaled up Ethereum protocol as well. One of the reasons I am quite happy where #MultiversX is and what stands for is the utmost care of principles. Building everything with decentralisation, scalability and security first. You can participate, validate, observe, build blocks with consumer grade hardware, on Starlink even, with full green energy as @ColombiaStaking is doing. Also, you can easily develop applications.
