Big kids, little learners, and lots of German! GHS German 3 students spent the day with younger learners at Milwaukee German Immersion School: reading fairy tales in German, helping with games and reading, and being great role models topped off w/ a German lunch at Kegel’s Inn!

Three Greenfield Middle School Cooking Club teams will have recipes published in the 2026 Whipping Up Wellness cookbook. Congrats to 8th graders Alec D., Madelynn R., and Adrian O., the only middle school team invited to the Student Chef Cook-Off at Madison College on May 14.

The WI DPI has officially named Edgewood a 2024–25 WI School of Recognition: High Impact! Led by Principal Meg Boyd, EW staff & families have built a culture of steady progress to ensure all students receive rigorous, relevant learning opportunities every day. Congratulations!

We’re celebrating Glenwood Elementary! Glenwood has earned 2024–25 Wisconsin School of Recognition status in the High Impact category. This honor reflects the hard work of students, staff, and families supporting learning and growth every day. Way to go, Glenwood!

GHS students joined staff to harvest harvested 27 lbs of lettuce along w/ basil grown in our Fork Farm Hydroponic Garden. The fresh greens are now on the garden bar, lunch lines, salads and wraps. Thanks to everyone making this hands-on learning (and eating) possible at GHS!

Our GHS students had a fantastic week at the SkillsUSA State Competition in Madison. Will W., Jack K., and Aaron K. won first place in Community Service. Grant G., Ethan H., and Henry T. earned third place in Engineering Technology. We are so proud of your hard work!

The Community Culture Fair is coming to Greenfield High School on April 28. The public is invited to the evening session from 5–7 PM. Explore student-led exhibits, learn about cultures from around the world, and sample international foods with a suggested donation.

Elm Dale 4K students wrapped up their transportation unit with a hands-on adventure on the last day before spring break. After going through TSA and boarding their “plane,” students traveled to Australia, China, and France to learn about culture, music, food, and landmarks.

We enjoyed meeting so many new families at Elm Dale and we are looking forward to our final 4K Info Night and Tour events this Thursday. Families for Glenwood and Maple Grove are invited to join us April 16 from 5pm to 6pm. Please RSVP if you haven't already.

We are so proud of the GMS Band and their performance at the State Capitol! Valeri Fremder directed a beautiful set for the WMEA Capitol Concerts. The students loved chatting with Senator Dora Drake and Representatives Bob Donovan and Karen Kirsch after the music stopped.

The State Superintendent saw Blue Ribbon excellence in action yesterday at Edgewood Elementary. We are so proud of Principal Meg Boyd and the EW staff for bringing out the absolute best in every child!

This week we are celebrating National Assistant Principals Week. We have five fantastic APs leading at our middle and high school levels. Their hard work behind the scenes keeps our buildings strong. Join us in thanking them for everything they do for our students and community.

Greenfield High School Esports kicks off spring playoffs today. Varsity Super Smash Bros enters as reigning state champions. Aidan S, Charlie W, and Ryan K are ready to defend their title alongside our JV and Marvel Rivals squads. Good luck bringing home another win!

Our Edgewood Elementary students just built 1,000 sandwiches in 60 minutes for The Guest House. This student organized event followed a month of lessons on empathy. Look for coverage from CBS 58 and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Our students are incredible!

A wonderful night of cross-generational connection! We hosted 200 local seniors for a warm dinner before our student production of Guys and Dolls. Seeing our cast work the room and stay in character while mingling with our guests during the meal made it a truly special evening.

Our 6-12th grade band students spent an amazing day working with composer John Woger on a piece written specifically for Greenfield. Mr. Woger praised our students for being both great musicians and great people. Join us for the world premiere on March 25th at 7pm in the GHS gym.
