It's all go for @BarrowFull's exhibition installation today! We're excited to see this fab work by students from @GreengateJ with artist @alex_mourant go up on the walls. 'A Trip to Earnse Bay' is open from Thur 7th - Sun 10th from 10am-4pm so come visit before it's gone!

5R were invited to an open day at Earnse Bay. They enjoyed a fabulous Beach Schools experience and their behaviour was fantastic. Well done 5R for asking such great questions. 🌊 #greengatejuniors

💚We are thrilled to share our news- Greengate Junior School has achieved the @OptimusEd SENDIA award. This special award acknowledges the Special Education Needs Disability (SEND) provision @GreengateJ & recognises our commitment to achieving the best outcomes for SEND pupils.

4D have been transported back to the Viking times by Ben from @Vikingschool. We've had an amazing day & learned how to be a Viking warrior,everyday life in Viking times, Viking Gods & accumulating into a full on battle! We've sent home fully trained warriors tonight-so watch out!

📚Wow! What an amazing time the children had in #BookClub this term. 🐉‘The boy who grew dragons’ by @andyjshepherd🐉 was a definite favourite & they finished each session with a dragon themed craft; paper plate dragons, dragon bookmarks, flying dragons & popping dragons.🐉

Mrs Huxley took a group of Yr4s to their final presentation today. They watched a PowerPoint of their experiences (with thanks to @BAFCCommunity plus were given a goodie bag each. This was topped off by some wonderful buffet food with friends! #greengatejuniors

5R have been helping @BarraCulture recruit an artist for an exhibition. The artist selected will go on to create a piece of artwork to be placed at Earnse Bay, Walney. The children were asked for their opinions and shared their ideas. #greengatejuniors #ArtistOnTwitter
