Finally the weather plays ball and we can make a start on this years bunker refurbishments 🥶

Another winter of bunker renovations means we’re now halfway through a complete rebuild of every bunker on the Championship Course. Today saw the opening for play of this years work. Thanks to @BunkerMat_com and my own staff for all of their hard work. Now it’s time to mow!

Seven days on from renovations.

Great shift by @FineTurfServ and our own team today. 30 greens deep scarified to 20mm, cleared, overseeded with @wearegerminal Forefront greens, top dressed and brushed. All done by 14:30 👍🏼

Well, I went away on holiday and this happened! Photos taken fifteen days apart. Unbelievable powers of recovery from the grass plant after some decent rain. “It’s dead” they said! 😀

The locals were as keen as I was to check on the pump house this morning! Happy Father’s Day everyone! ❤️

Lots of this going on today. Keeping moisture levels up and targeting high spots as we navigate our way through a tricky dry spell. ☀️ 💦 🏌️‍♂️
