Thornton greens

This is just now becoming a joke folks, really hate to be posting negativity here but the rakes in bunkers aren’t just there for show and the pitch marks are just beyond a joke. We will be monitoring and watching now and I’m afraid if we spot misconduct it will be dealt with.

Course looking not too bad for a Tuesday that’s for sure! Some effort at the moment from my team.

This area has bugged me since I started in Thornton over a year ago… finally got round to it today with some extra help with our volunteers! Some difference..

Worn area from being water logged throughout the winter months On 13th fairway he’s been overseeded and gur in the meantime.

Liner in, sand in and compacted now 2 weeks to settle and bunker will be open. Good graft today team 🙌🙌

Starting to really shape up nicely! Probably around 1-2 weeks away from Where I want us to be, all hands On deck and it’s a great feeling at the moment.. let’s go team!
