@iGardon And how is going to pay for this, where is that money going to come from?
Ans: the people and businesses paying taxes.
English

@SpeakerPelosi Will we see you out during this candlelight vigil walking the streets with the drug addicts, the mentally unstable and homeless , or at home pounding drinks with your husband?
English

@KarenBassLA No, most of the homeless are drug out, tweekers that should up at Emergency Rooms around4:30pm to get a free meal and nights stay, that cost is then passed on to other patients, thus raising premiums on the insured.
English

I saw the homelessness crisis firsthand in the emergency room at County General.
Many of my patients shouldn’t have been in the ER — they were there because they had no clinic to go to. No primary care. No safety net. So they ended up in crisis.
Now that same building is becoming a Healthy Village — affordable housing, wellness services, and real opportunity for our community.
My work on this issue never stopped. There’s still a lot to do, but I’m changing the way Los Angeles approaches this crisis with comprehensive services. That’s how we’ll making a lasting impact.
English

@katieporterca No it doesn’t, it offers waiting lines for treatment, higher cost and less quality.
English

@katieporterca A lot of the problems with that ‘maintenance’ work, is that environmental groups start filling suits that same tree, shrub, animal is threatened, so that stops or delays that work. And the government what an Environmental Impact report, permits, etc don’t help.
English

We have the power to mitigate wildfire risk in California. We also have the power to speed up recovery when fires happen. As Governor, I will hold public utilities accountable for actually doing the maintenance work they've been putting off for decades, and I'll take on insurers who are ripping off families and refusing to pay out claims.

@RealJamesWoods Didn’t she play the part of Mona in Robinson Caruso on Mars?
English

@CAgovernor Most of those crimes are not reported, because the resources to prosecute are not there. Therefore if your car gets broken into and you call the police, the dispatch will not bother you with.
English

@GovPressOffice @CAgovernor So, the fire victims will still pay for a fire the state let burn.
English

NEW: @CAGovernor Gavin Newsom will be proposing a new $100 million fund to help wildfire victims afford loans to rebuild their homes under a plan to be released Thursday.
“We have been on the ground in L.A. since Day One of recovery from these fires, and we aren’t turning our backs now. This community deserves continued support to help them get back on their feet, and rebuild their homes and their lives.”

English

@lady_valor_07 Myself, because the other are not worth risking your life for.
English

@GovPressOffice If that’s true, name the spots they are visiting, hint, it’s not Discovery near Old Sacramento, Stockton, South Central LA, East Palo Alto, the Market street BART station, Marysville, Oakland or Richmond.
English

@SenWarren Guess you have never worked at a University, Union shops don’t let outside people do their job unless, they don’t have the people and only if the outside people are paid prevailing wages.
English

@lady_valor_07 It’s looks like a shower curtain, just throw it out and buy a new one, Dollar store or Grocery Outlet are cheap.
English

@CAgovernor This coming from a small man who closed down Asian businesses first thing when COVID started.
