Legendary Platt High School baseball player, coach and Athletic Director, Rich Katz, will be retiring at the end of this school year. So Thursday, Platt’s baseball diamond was named in his honor with a couple of hundred in attendance for the dedication ceremony! @MeridenK12

Days 4 and 5 of Make Your Mark Week was amazing last week. We made a student/kindness chain and had a student-led pep rally. The response from students throughout the week was incredible! @PlattLive

There was lots of laughs today with “A Day At The Beach”. Students made colorful sand jars and they loved showing their friends what they made! @PlattLive

I am speechless at how amazing day 2 of Make Your Mark Week went! Todays theme was all about growth. We had over 300 flowers donated from Dietrich Gardens! @PlattLive

Day 1 of Make Your Mark Week was a success! The theme was “Dreaming of a Kind World” where students wore their PJ’s and had the opportunity to paint kindness rocks. I can’t wait for the rest of the week! #PlattMYM
