Headed home from Ireland after a great meeting with local course managers. A huge thanks to @Greenstester for hosting, the golf at @JamesonGolfLink, and many pints of Guiness. He received his new aX turf sensor, too. I can't wait to see the data stream into @GreenKeeperApp.

Portmarnock Resort, formerly Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links, has unveiled its remodelled championship course under a new brand name - Jameson Golf Links. The rebrand follows a multi-million € renovation of Bernhard Langer’s original 1995 design, masterminded by Jeff Lynch 😍🇮🇪⛳️

“It’s not a profession, it’s a devotion.”~Fintan Brennan, Superintendent of @PortmarnockLink. He’s been here 30 years, since the course was being built. During Covid he started beekeeping and harvesting the honey. His son is he’s assistant. “I use no insecticides and selective herbicides on fine turf only.” I love this guy.
