On the list of things to close, gyms, pools and other similiar facilities should not have been near the top. How many outbreaks have been linked to gyms? The work owners have put into making them secure is amazing, and it was working! They should be allowed to operate safely.

We need a big push to encourage all of us to get healthier and fitter. Shutting outdoor sports facilities is not going to help that, especially for children. What exercise is available for many now? Running outside in the cold and dark is not an option for some. Bad move.

Children can spend all day at school together, but not have a small birthday party at the weekend. We can sit in a packed restaurant with 50+ people, but not have a family dinner at home. We can go to an indoor cinema, but not a football match outdoors. Where is the logic?

In the UK, tobacco kills 13 people an hour. Over 300 a day. So the Government wants to destroy the economy to prevent 200 (worst case) Covid deaths a day. Why not ban smoking?
