I've worked with ELLs in all of my 22 yrs w/@RCSDNYS, but before teaching at @RCSDRIA, I didn't fully understand the circumstances that make them different kinds of learners or the 1000s of tiny instructional moves that were most impactful on their often interrupted education. 1/
