Drinking prosecco on a Freccia and being reminded of what good transport infrastructure feels like.

Happy Birthday @SBS!🎂The world’s most multicultural public broadcaster -still vibrant - turns 50 today. I’m so proud to have taught audio storytelling to SBS broadcasters of 55 languages for a decade. I learned so much in this miniUnited Nations of Oz & have such fond memories💚
If Steve Liebmann taught a Masters course in #journalism, I'd do the course twice. Have a listen to this great interview with @LiebmannSteve I used to watch 11AM at the age of 4. The career of Liebo fascinates me. 3mp.com.au/podcasts/great…
Australia's real estate industry has pumped $70 million into Homely, but is it playing fair? @SBSNews" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">sbs.com.au/news/article/a…
@johnstempinNPR Absolutely! The baby wombat was frightened (making yelping noises) and its mother came chasing after that idiot tourist who is en route back to the USA. Qantas refused to let her board which forced her to fly United. So, she has suffered!
Every once in awhile I end up asking a news question I had no idea I would ever ask.
Tonight's big question:
"Explain the context. Did she do a terrible thing to the wombat?"
This airline runs special pride flights, but a booking quirk excludes some LGBTIQ+ people @SBSNews" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">sbs.com.au/news/article/t…
Question. You have dinner at a midrange restaurant. Your server is very likable, enthusiastic and sincere but still obviously learning. Do you tip on emotion because you want him to succeed one day or do you tip on the actual service received (which was poor, tbh)?
Also, in a previous life, you waited tables.
Merry Christmas 🎄 to all my followers, near and far. To those of you who I know in real life as well as to those of you who interact with me on X.
When I first joined Twitter, it seemed to be more ‘fun’. It now seems to be more of a sewer.
If it wasn’t for the good people on here, I would have closed my account a long time ago.
Woolworths monitor workers in their warehouses, treating them more like robots than people. Every worker has the right to fair pay and a safe work place. Surely Woolworths with the profits they make can afford to treat their workers with the respect they deserve.
