@SanzeriBaseball You can’t pick & choose which umpires can or can’t handle it.
Like a pitcher tipping a pitch the slightest movement by an ump like getting a better vantage point on Offspeed vs a FB they know is coming, leaning to location could be relayed by the dugout or runner. Very simple

@GregGonz3 I disagree. I would love to have the umps know what pitch is coming. I think we’d figure out quickly which umps could handle it. I have a hard time understanding how umps could tip pitches or how the hitter could see that.

I have a theory that if umpires knew what pitch is coming their overall accuracy & consistency would improve.
It would reduce the number of impactful missed calls.
I also don’t see this idea being difficult to implement.

@AntGranato W/ 11.7 walkons are extremely valuable to programs anyone not on athletic scholarship is “cutable” & a player on athletic money will count against the roster regardless. Transparency & trust in a staff on the incoming roster is a huge deal. The right JC is a gret option

To be clear D1 route for a HS player on scholarship means ur an investment and they believe ur ready to make an impact. If ur a “walk on” be ready to “redshirt”, wait your turn for any of the above mentioned, or get cut n kick back to a JC bc ur not in their plans anymore. #facts
