I don't doubt that. My doubt was when I heard he said people wanted bombs to be dropped right around where they were located. I trust what you're saying. That's all that needs to be said, the extra "over selling" is what causes confusion & skepticism. Tell us that the IRGC is weakened due to the success of our military as opposed to saying things like "We've won/they have nothing left/they're begging to make a deal/etc." like 10+ times each day. Speaking the truth like what you said (as opposed to overselling it and/or making unrealistic comments) is believable & it prevents the "If we've already won/if they are so decimated, why are/did....." questions/thoughts. War in particular because the credibility gap (noticeable distrust in government) began during the Vietnam War & has only gotten worse (+many people still remember "WMD's") & that wasn't needed to get peoples support (It wouldn't have taken anything more than "the people who attacked us operated/lived in ...... countries" for the public to be fully on board with it. That's why these days, (I assume) would respect the truth without any added hype, let alone excessive hype. I hope this makes sense?
