@SteelersFrenzy @MarkKaboly Honestly I’m not even trying to disparage Howard (or Stetson), I just don’t understand why so many Steelers fans want him to be their starter. OSU was likely favored in every game, he only lost 2. Allar lost 2 such games in 3 years also. I don’t think it’s a fair comparison

@GregKupetz @MarkKaboly One guy won a national championship. Also, consider the last 2 Super Bowl winning QB's. Both were game managers carried by a great oline/dline. Who's to say Will can't be that. I think we can all agree that those names aren't going to be a Mahomes or Allen type of player.

Mike McCarthy pointed out that long arms and big hands are key to playing football in bad weather. “ "Your guy has to throw better than the other guy in big games,” McCarthy said. Two notable QBs fit that mold in this year's draft -- Carson Beck and Drew Allar.

@SteelersFrenzy @MarkKaboly I’m just saying putting a guy on a historically great team makes him a winner? Why? Was Stetson Bennet a winner? Nobody is saying Will Howard can’t be a game manager, but I def wouldn’t assume he’s the answer at QB. The best argument for starting him is to tank

@SteelersFrenzy @MarkKaboly I remember the ball being in the hand of Will Howard, two minute drill, best WR corps in the nation, down one point against Oregon… couldn’t get it done. Lost OSU the Michigan game. Didn’t play a close game that whole playoff. OSU winning that ship was not about Will Howard

@Steelers_DB I get him and Elliott are a little duplicative, but could you see some big nickel where Elliott moves in the box and Brisker + Ramsey/Rookie play back? Also we missed Elliott when he was injured. Are they concerned there? Seems like a nice piece to add if a bit of luxury

Players reported it “has only five bathroom stalls for the entire team.” • Ownership ranked last in willingness to invest in facilities. • Lowest-rated home field in the league “by a wide margin” due to high school and college use leading to poor field condition. • Strength coaches ranked last in the NFL. • Training staff ranked first in the NFL.

He was loyal to a fault perhaps with Tomlin, but not many/any billionaires I’d pick to make football decisions over tomlin

@cecchiniandrew @wizardklly @LandonTengwall I agree on field cond, they’ve outgrown the Pitt partnership and Heinz isn’t the gold standard, but whole nother convo on whether I would rate an owner higher for building new stadiums with public funds. McCarthy has a bigger staff, I’m not punishing AR2 for Tomlin choices

Lol why should I be easy on AR2? He’s a joke. My wife’s family use to be a part of the organization when Dan ran it and it was elite. I know multiple guys who have played for the Steelers from 2020-now and I’ve literally only heard bad things. AR2 deserves no grace because his grandad and dad are legends. He’s asleep at the wheel
