I see that both cases @highcourtofaus heard in Adelaide last week were five judge cases, and both had the same panels (with Edelman and Gleeson absent.)
(I'm surprised Chaplin - a robodebt case - didn't merit seven judges.)

This seems to the 5-person decision on interlocutory appeals foreshadowed in last week's Anna Rowan ruling.
It turns out to be on how the interlocutory appeals scheme applies to (defence) evidence excluded by the rape shield.
