@AkoyeMedia Dallas could have signed Clowney for $8 million, saved a 4th rd pick, got a better pass rusher, and same run defense. Clowney isn't a rusher either, but he's better at it than Gary. Dallas fans are very insecure about Gary. They don't want to hear what he is.

@AkoyeMedia I agree Sweat isn't the run defender he used to be, butvto say Gary is anywhere close to Sweat as a rusher, that's absurd. Sweat has moves for days. Lawrence is a better pass rusher than Gary, and Tank is limited too, but he's much more explosive

@AkoyeMedia Put a video of Sweat's pressures vs Gary pressures. Or both of their pass rushes. Gary is basically useless as a pass rusher, all his sacks come from extended plays or another player chases QB to him. Look at Sweat from 2024, when he wasn't hobbled.

@AkoyeMedia I didn't see any pass rush plays from Sweat on the video. That's what he's paid to do. Watch a few pass rushes, then look at Gary, that's far more important than setting the edge. You can get anybody to do that, getting after the QB is what NFL teams covet

@AkoyeMedia Sweat has a degenerative knee from college. He wasn't 100% this year, but he can still get after the QB. I like Gary as a player, he is good at what he does. He's like watching a Clowney clone. They're basically the same player, Clowney is more explosive though

@AkoyeMedia I think you're overrating Gary a good bit. He's a good run defender, but as a pass rusher, he's less than limited. He runs directly to the chest of tackles, and uses a long arm, if it works, cool, if not, he's done. These other guys have deep bags

You’re a stubborn man, let’s do the lives there is no world where sweat was better at anything this season or last, then Greenard at all Gary was more of an impact player than Sweat on the film no argument. But you tell me when and we’ll do another one since you insist i just watch every snap from Greenard’s last two season idk what you’re referencing or missing but I assume you’ll enlighten me
Lou’s Takes ✭@loutakes_

It’s clear you are being over critical in these plays. I’m guessing you value someone with higher motor. I see a guy that is getting the job done when the ball is coming this way. Difference of view points. What I’m surprised is that you don’t have these same issues with Greenard and Gary. When we do the joint . I will show you the over finesse play or Greenard . And the inconsistent play of Gary. I trust Sweat to lead a room. Gary and Greenard have a role in a committee. Again this is why their markets reflect it.

@AkoyeMedia Gary is a good player, he's just not a pass rusher. That's not a slight. Sweat is a rusher, Greenard is a rusher. Gary is Clowney, same guy, Clowney is a little more athletic, but both have no bend, no moves. It's a day off for tackles

@AkoyeMedia Jaelan Phillips had 21 quick pressures just with the Eagles. He only had 5 sacks, but you watch him, then watch Gary, and you will see a much different animal. Gary is very stiff, and if he can't win with long arm, he's cooked. No counters. Any ghost moves? Nope

@AkoyeMedia Gary has no bend, he doesn't have pass rush traits. He's Clowney. Sweat has a deep bag, and Sweat normally has way more pressures than he had last year in 2024 he had 77. Gary couldn't get 77 pressures if you spotted him 20. And he is incapable of quick pressure

@AkoyeMedia comparing Gary to Sweat as a pass rusher, it's not anywhere near close. Sweat is a legitimate pass rusher. In 50 less pass rush snaps Sweat had 21 quick pressures to only 8 for Gary. Clowney only had 8 too. That's a horrendous number

@AkoyeMedia Gary isn't even as good as Clowney as a pass rusher. Gary has no moves, no counters, he gets nothing but effort sacks. He is allergic to quick pressure. Greenard is better than Sweat as a rusher.

@AkoyeMedia Sweat absolutely destroys Gary in every pass rush metric, especially if you look at total pressures, and especially quick pressures. Gary is stiff, he's not a pass rusher, Sweat is bendy, bursty, and it's a Wipeout as a rusher. Gary is a better run defender

@AkoyeMedia @loutakes_ @BossCowboySport @FootsDaKing As an Eagles fan, I want Greenard. He's a tremendous pass rusher, he can drop into the flat and cover, which is critical in Fangio scheme. I would still be ok with Sweat reunion though. Greenard is just a little better pass rusher right now.

Yall and the chat said he ain’t it and I’m watching his tape and the lie detector determined that was a lie Lou 😂 my power out so take these clips from my phone, but later today oooohh! His Spin Move Is Excellent/IQ/Stops The Run/Drops In Coverage/Problem! Here are some clips until my power is back on in my house, then imma drop his film on yall, but calling this man Horrible is insane

@AkoyeMedia As a pass rusher, Greenard is miles better than Gary. Sweat is also a lot better than Gary as a rusher. Sweat isn't bad against the run, he's 270 lbs, IDK where you got the idea that Sweat is poor vs run. Gary is good vs run, he's just not a great rusher

@Charles71415381 @Stokedfight Duran was unbeatable at lightweight and Welterweight, he didn't lose until he got to Middleweight and he gave Hagler all he could handle. Only fighter he couldn't beat was Hearns, and that was a style clash, and the height was too much for Duran. Duran belongs on there

@Stokedfight Joshua can’t be on the list. To many great pre-Ali fighters are not on the list, Joe Louis, Jack Johnson, Harry Greb or Willie Pep. As a post Ali list you still need Roberto Duran, as a list of the last 30-40 years you need Bernard Hopkins and Andre Ward.

@Stokedfight Putting a list based off of records is diabolical. Just straight disrespectful to all the other boxers that are excluded from the list that have earned it. This is why we don't do greatest of all time in every sport. Respect the game and the eras they were in!

@nailzministries @Stokedfight Ranking fighters by losses is ridiculous. Ray Robinson fought every fighter there was from welterweight to lightheavyweight. Duran, Hagler Leonard Chavez Hopkins they fought everyone that was anyone in their era. Of course they're gonna lose some.

@Stokedfight I mean putting Canelo Alvarez above Sugar Ray Robinson that is blasphemy in the boxing world. By the way I'm sure Canelo has more than two losses we know that for a fact

@nailzministries @Stokedfight It's a list a 15 year old would make. Where's Joe Louis Ray Robinson, Hell Lennox Lewis is light years ahead of Joshua. Tyson, Holyfield, Duran, Hagler, Hopkins, Chavez, the amount of all time greats that were disrespected here is insane.

@Stokedfight Usyk has 24 fights not 21 and the fact that you got him and Anthony Joshua on this list but you don't have Joe Louis. Whoever made this list needs to turn in their boxing card and just bow out respectfully to save Grace because this is absolutely horrible

@Stokedfight Quite possibly the worst list I have ever seen. Anthony Joshua? Really? I can name 40 heavyweights that were better. Ali, Lewis, Holyfield, Louis, Mariano, Holmes, Klitschko, Tyson, Fury, Frazier, Foreman. Obviously the list you put up was rage bait. Or you're just young
