@JimComparoni Exactly! I once sat front row, upper deck on the 3rd base line as a little kid. Lou Whitaker hit a foul ball so hard - you could hear the ball whistling right toward us. It hit that scoreboard directly in front of where we were sitting, and scared me half to death!

That infield upper deck closeness to the field is what people don’t understand. If they never sat up there, they don’t know what they don’t know.

We just arrived to @SCSTATE1896 where the university has confirmed that SLED is investigating a shooting on campus at Hugine Suites. 2 dead, at least one hurt, according to SC State. Campus has been on lockdown since 9:15p. Updates to come @wis10.

@IffyTheDopester ‘85 was the first year I ever attended a Tiger game at Tiger Stadium. Seeing 23 at the plate, Gibby’s number lit up next to the “At Bat” on those iconic scoreboards… it was glorious.
