@kieranjol Our "AIP" has a preservation directory which reflects the deposit and a derivatives directory which reflects the collection arrangement. Rearrangement isn't automatically documented but if its meaningful we should describe it in a note.

PNGs are good for preservation. You don't need to migrate/normalize them. I am team #PNGforPreservation If you got JPGs already they're fine too, you're not gaining anything by converting them. We gotta get rid of these "compression is not preservation" ideas
