@BungleNoMore @DiscussingFilm Please help me understand why a tweet would be more relevant than a quote from an actual Batman movie. Maybe I’m just old.

Michael Caine's iconic tweet is referenced in the new ‘LEGO BATMAN’ game. “Batman Begin.”

@MePeterNicholls I have not been to a ton of places in the UK, mostly london, and none of my friends flats had fitted carpet, but I have been reliably informed by many people that it is common there and I believe you.

Today, we've ended vibe coding as a whole. I just watched my Mac build a complete business in 183 seconds. This is just absurd.

@Mmmmmmm200000 @atjg__ How can you have any concept of what’s loud if it’s your first game?

@Greg_Small @atjg__ Where exactly did I rank it below other stadiums? I just said it wasn’t as loud as people claim it to be.

@atjg__ To be honest SJP is so overrated maybe it’s loud in some Champions League games but in Premier League matches it’s totally overrated I was there against Arsenal my first game and I was shocked the crowd was dead.

If what Craig says is true regarding Isak potentially wanting out for 15 months or more, it makes me wonder about this goal celebration. And if there's a sinister meaning behind it. Kinda saying "Get me out of here". 🤔 If he does indeed sign for Liverpool, it'll be very intriguing to see if the celebration stays. #nufc #Isak

@andrew_lilico Personally it’s nearly always trying to pay off a mortgage (or get one) which is also the main focus of many people my age and younger. Saving isn’t really a prospect before getting that sorted

Why are higher interest rates always presented as a bad news story - in this case a "blow to borrowers" - instead of good news - eg a "boost for savers"? How have we become culturally aligned with borrowing, with debt? Is that healthy for our politics?

@rcolvile Bang on, and also everyone acting like it was all pre planned be each/both sides. It was just a scrappy, spontaneous petty argument that happened in the moment. I doubt either side wanted it to happen how it did.

The reaction to the Trump/Vance/Zelensky conversation is an extraordinary showcase for confirmation bias. Lost count of the tweets I've read saying 'Having actually watched through all 50 minutes, it is utterly obvious that...' which then come to completely different conclusions.

@jensen1966 @Peston Is not about the news, it’s about their useless policies. Drowning businesses in extra costs, you can’t run from it.

It is shocking that - in a consumer-driven economy - pay rose 6% nominal and 2.5% real in the last three months of the year but GDP growth was flat as a pancake. Confidence and optimism really is shot at the moment

One of the amazing things about the English Premier League is that you can win it from anywhere. In the last decade it has been won, 1 time from the Midlands. 2 times from South England. 7 times from North England.

Still feel #nufc in third gear at the moment - lots of room for improvement. What a difference it makes having a bench and being able to change things makes. Cannot doubt the character and think they'll improve. Big week ahead - for many reasons - now...
