Dora made new friends in Lyme Regis - Tray, the dog and Mary Anning, in this wonderful statue depicting the pair marching along the beaches of the Jurassic Coast on a fossil finding adventure! We were very impressed with Dora for exactly matching Tray’s pose for this photo!

Did you know… As well as producing the Condensed Histories Podcast with @JemDuducu, and narrating the audiobooks of (to date) 3 of Jem’s books, that Greg was incredibly touched, when reading Jem’s 2019 book ‘Echoes’, to discover that Jem had named a character after him!

@morangles @JemDuducu It reminds me of the old comic line - whay care about the man who pulls a sword out of a stone - shouldn’t they have made the king the person who could put it in?

@JemDuducu @GregandFelicity Been doing some thinking about Arthur. Something in the tale was ringing as an old memory. Then it made sense. The sword in the stone! You see, in France Arthur is known. But Charlemagne more so. And his nephew, Roland who died in battle and planted his sword Durandal in a stone (says the story), my generation was raised on it. Roland is fictional (we think) the tale goes back to the 11th-12th. Question is: was it written before Arthur or after? If Roland predates Arthur, we have a copycat. Giggles. From what I have read, the original storyline was about a young Charles who escapes death and dishonour but leaves his sword in the stone for unfathomable reason as too often medieval heroes do by the way. This or they are simply men.

One of the things I do as I travel round the country with my ‘The Non-Psychic ‘Psychic’ Show’ is a tour diary, in which I have also started discussing recent psychic claims. Have a look at our latest ep: ‘Did A Psychic Predict The Toronto Plane Crash?’ - youtu.be/HxxisM2fLMo

Finally finished my Airfix Tempest. I don’t have one of those lazy susan display things, so here it is on my record turntable.
