In the early 2000s, Disney executives (and the execs running feature animation in the US) saw that 3D animated movies were making big money while a lot of 2D animated movies were flopping, so they switched to only making 3D movies. That’s how Hollywood execs kind of are sadly.

@JohnnyTheMagyar @pkmndotgg My goal when I returned to the hobby was to get a full master set. At the time, Sun and Moon: Guardians Rising was in distribution, and I eventually reached that goal.

For everyone that got back into pokemon in the last 10 years, 5 years, or recently what was the first thing you picked up? I still remember mine, in late 2015 when I got back into pokemon cards the first thing I bought was all the base set holos.

@GregtheLion Same but I always make sure to leave at least one comment saying that their channel is shit and that their family openly hates them before hitting do not reccomend. If I can make even one slop peddler slide into a debilitating depression spiral it's all worth it.
