South of Tucson was on fire tonight, both with the lingering sunset and the bolts raining down.

Lightning, Sunset, and a Skunk -
I decided on taking a chance on the storms tonight and headed up Mount Lemmon. After an incredible sunset I caught several nice bolts. But then a relentless skunk decided it wanted my spot and chased me off.

We know you've heard of a volcano...but how about a volnado? This afternoon, during episode 32 fountaining at Kīlauea the V3 live camera (ow.ly/tSiq50WPZKv) caught this whirlwind kicking up loose ash deposits along the active fountain and flow within Halemaʻumaʻu crater.
