In today's 13-0 win over Sycamore, Megan Spence notched her 300th career strikeout. Megan went on to strike out 7 in the game. This moves Megan into the top 6 all time strikeout leaders in program history. Congratulations Megs!

UPDATE: I was grateful to hear they have food and water, but we (all of our family) still have not had contact with my 75 yr old mom and family trapped in their basement in Spruce Pine NC. I do not think the bank the house is built on is safe. Now my BIGGEST concern aside from being trapped/tree through the roof. It could collapse. It has been eroding for years. They have had truckloads of soil to build it back up. I believe this is a true hazard right now. They are going to need assistance as soon as the flooding recedes. I am worried! @NC_Governor @NCNationalGuard @NCEmergency
I cannot stress how devastated these mountain areas are…It is historic!
Please pray for all of the victims from this catastrophic storm.

My niece in Hickory sent me a message. Someone local was able to get to them. They are safe. They do have food and water. They are trapped in the basement. When the flooding recedes they will need help getting out. Trapped but safe🙏🏽Please keep praying for everyone trapped by this storm or even worse. My fear is we will lose some to this historic storm. This is all so unbelievable. I will keep you updated on my mom and family. I am still worried. God help us🙏🏽
