The reality is that @BronsteinSpeaks does more for the cannabis industry daily than @GretchenGailey ever has or will.

@TRICEYSMILES @UPS I was just told by the customer service rep that the “weather delay” excuse is made up. But no one seems to be able to tell me when my package can be delivered.
English

When did @ups become so bad at delivering packages? They can’t give you any answers as to why your package is just sitting there two days past the delivery date. And you’re told to just keep waiting a few more days.

@JimCantore are we crossing our fingers for some thunder snow?
English

@Cannabisref @jamiecampbell What’s funny is that you all can’t even fathom someone would fight for something they believe in pro bono.
Imagine how strong the lobby for cannabis/hemp if someone actually showed up and put their money where their mouth is.
English

@jamiecampbell @GretchenGailey Not sure when, but somewhere along the way it seems like Gretchen started getting a pay check from the hemp industry, openly stated it wasn’t likely S3 was coming, and then said the hemp loophole was the industry salvation.
Hilarious.
Our DC “advocate” didn’t have a clue.
English

If you’re frustrated with stalled federal weed reform, you’re not alone — but moral clarity isn’t enough. Washington responds to influence, strategy & sustained pressure. If you want real change advocates must play the long game.

@jamiecampbell @donmurphy12a and I only care about patients and their access to medicine.
Not your bottom line.
English

@GretchenGailey Just need to get people out of the way that aren’t aligned with real cannabis reform like they once claimed to be.
Thanks for making your allegiance to intoxicating hemp so clear.

English

@jamiecampbell Are you guys ever going to get out of your own way?
English

@GretchenGailey No, thanks.
Intoxicating hemp has set cannabis reform back years.
A clear distinction and disassociation from intoxicating hemp is more important than ever to move forward.

English

@66Blunts @donmurphy12a Nope, I covered that.
“Washington will not be rushed. It will not be shamed into speed. And it will not act simply because cannabis deserves better, no matter how true that may be.”
English

@donmurphy12a @GretchenGailey The part Gretchen fails to discuss is unlike most any other subject for congress, or the president to have to address, this subject has been in full display for years. This isn't a question of legalities. This is being sold and taxed in 40 states. It's normalized in 80% of the US

One part victory lap, one part farewell tour. Thanks to all who helped pull the wagon. 😎 @AmericanCCo @GretchenGailey

@GretchenGailey @donmurphy12a I'll continue to speak my mind as I see fit, but thank you for the advice, Gretchen! Merry Christmas!

Some of us will still be fighting because:
1) The President can't reschedule through Executive Order and today's E.O. won't be any different than Biden admin saying they wanted it rescheduled.
2) Cannabis is safer than alcohol and shouldn't be scheduled at all.
3) People are still being arrested for weed.

As of 1:31 PM today, I hope to be retired from full-time advocacy. 😎@AmericanCCo

Thank you @realDonaldTrump for moving cannabis to Schedule III, but it’s not the end of the road. Patients, businesses, & states are still navigating an outdated federal framework. Lawmakers need to build on this momentum with comprehensive, bipartisan reforms that fully normalize and destigmatize cannabis.

Caught up with former NFL all star @KyleTurley133 outside of the White House today as he pushed for meetings with officials after the government funding bill banned most hemp products.
He says cannabis saved his life and he wants America to understand what needs to happen here so people can keep playing football and getting back to work.
He says the surprise provision in the bill will ban nearly all hemp derived consumer products and will put 400,000 Americans out of work in a $30 billion industry.

Ex-NFL offensive lineman wants Trump to reverse hemp ban provision in funding package
“I don’t think people understand the magnitude of what that’s going to entail….”
But @ProjectChampOrg gets it.
It’s time for us to accept the concept of “one plant, one set of rules.”
