@Blacksword011 And yet they’re still living in third world shitholes
English

@a__Goodneighbor @LeoRaven49 @perlumes Okay then I don’t have anything to do with you specifically, I’m still going to do my thing.
English

you will never know a life unburdened by what your father thinks about you

@LeoRaven49 @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes You states that abrahamic religions didn’t invent morality and that you are not a good person if you hold ulterior motives, both points that I never brought up or hold. You don’t want to engage in what I did say in good faith because that wouldn’t take effort.
English

@GreyChitin @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes You asked me wat motives my care for people and not only did I answer correctly but also explained where I was coming from. You just dont like my answers and are deflecting but trying to say I'm bringing irrelevant topics
English

@LeoRaven49 @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes Because you interpret all of what today’s scientists who are in that field say as undeniable fact.
English

@GreyChitin @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes Humans did invent morality cuz we've evolved to allow for abstract and existential thinking.
English

@GreyChitin @perlumes I get it, believe me! I just do not agree with it all, so I decided not to follow it to a T :3
I do like the liberation of slaves and all, even though ppl had to wait every 7 years and stuff
but I simply cannot believe some of the other stuff there, so.... :I
English

@LeoRaven49 @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes What are you saying? No human invented morality. And I didn’t say that we are good people because of something we do. You’re ignoring every point made and bringing up something irrelevant.
English

@GreyChitin @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes Because it's the rifht thing to do. I don't need religion to be a good person. Abrahamic religions didn't invent morality. You're not a good person if you need an ulterior motive
English

@nomebemcomum @perlumes Do you think religion is a fun social club for us, hm? Maybe it is for many new-agers, but to many of us it is explanation for the moral framework of humanity and the reasoning behind why we do what we do.
English

@GreyChitin @perlumes feel free not to do so! that's also something decided by morals, and mine are different from yours :)
for example, I'm pretty sure you like the bible and all, right?
English

@nomebemcomum @perlumes Okay, irrelevant, but okay. I personally wouldn’t shoot myself in the foot by admitting to be a moral relativist.
English

@GreyChitin @perlumes right is defined by a lot of stuff
historic periods, personal beliefs, laws, morals and whatever
it depends on who you ask, really!
for example, I find it right to decrease the usage of fuel such as gasoline, because it's bad for the environment and all! :I
English

@LeoRaven49 @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes And then what? Why do you care for these people? Because it makes you feel good to do so? If so, why? What’s the ultimate reason for caring for the ones you love?
English

@GreyChitin @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes I have a lot of things worth living for. I have a beautiful son, a fiance, friends and family, and my two cats.
English

@nomebemcomum @perlumes If right can be anything then nothing is right or wrong and again, nothing matters.
English

@GreyChitin @perlumes that's the thing about "right"
it can be based off of morals, beliefs and, most importantly (socially speaking), the law
for example, eating fibers is right for me because my tummy feels better when I do!
but might not be the case for other person
so it depends, really!
English

@nomebemcomum @perlumes Okay, so what? Other people like to make other people sad, that makes them happy. Doesn’t make it right.
English

@GreyChitin @perlumes I like seeing them like this, so it's a good thing for me!
not everyone feels like that though :(
English

@a__Goodneighbor @LeoRaven49 @perlumes That’s not correct. We are called to evangelize and proselytize, you’d know that if you cared enough to actually learn anything regarding Christian doctrine. Whatever version of it you’ve hallucinated is most likely a product of misrepresentation by people as ignorant as you.
English

@GreyChitin @LeoRaven49 @perlumes no? you follow him if you believe in him, leave other people out of this.
English

@LeoRaven49 @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes Well then in that case you have nothing ultimately worth anything to live for.
English

@LeoRaven49 @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes Because if we believe in the existence of God, then should we not try convince people to live in accordance with His intent for creation?
English

@GreyChitin @a__Goodneighbor @perlumes But that's you though. Why does everyone else need to follow a god they don't believe in?
