At the launch of “Beyond the Visible: A Handbook on Disability Inclusion for Parliamentarians,” developed by the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) with support of Bajaj Finserv, that shift was clearly visible.
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Ramdas Athawale lauded the efforts to bring such a Handbook and said it would be immensely useful.
For Arman Ali, Executive Director of NCPEDP, the handbook represents an effort to translate legislative intent into parliamentary engagement, equipping lawmakers with the context, language, & policy understanding needed to advance disability inclusion in public life.
