Anyone else unable to switch their brain off and sleep tonight? I have lots of ideas and plans, but seeing as I have been ill all week, a good night sleep would be preferable, especially as it is a full day teaching tomorrow if I am well enough.

@HalilMrT4Real It is lovely making positive phone calls and can really build really positive relationships with the parents and students. I try to make a positive phone call at least one for each class a week. Some weeks I make it some weeks I do not. But have found it really positive.

I made 8 calls today! 📞 8 calls to 8 different parents! Each conversation 1 min long! We are so quick to call when things are not going well! !Today...the narrative was flipped! Positivity was shared instead! I thanked the parents for their support and how proud we are of their children! ❤️ Today... happy tears were shed by the parents and by me!!!🥹 Now...I get to sit back and watch the positivity feed itself! ☺️ #ThereIsAnotherWay #Belong 🏡 #Care ❤️

A busy first day back in the shop after Christmas. Sadly our Christmas tree fell apart in Debbie's hands so the good news is a bigger tree this year. We have also been busy tidying up and changing the shop around ready for our new information and social area.

@revise_sci I completely agree with you and am in the same position. For the first time I am considering leaving the profession which makes me so sad and angry especially as I am not the only one. So sorry you are in similar cirumstances.

Only been back 3 days, and already feel at breaking point this half term. Not sure how I’m supposed to do nearly 40 more years of this.
