Greatest test of intelligence is asking someone what they think of Elon Musk

Little bro thinks a required IPO statement about profitability means that the engineers didn't think about heat transfer in space. Then blocks me

@Griffin_Too @thunderf00t Does it also require to state that you have past losses, even if you had no? Its a pretty important part in the answer you seem to be entirely blind to notice.

@Griffin_Too @thunderf00t You question was pretty much answered, and you've tried to adjust the question underneath the answer retroactively:

@NiceDay42 @thunderf00t No, he didn't answer my question. He answered a question that I didn't ask, so I reiterated it.

@Griffin_Too @thunderf00t It means you had a question and you got it answered. If you have another question, put it as it - another question.

Today has taught me that people don't think Elon's unrealistic timelines are already priced in.

@igneouswx They've made progress on that, and people should never believe Elon's timelines. My point was that people are assuming they don't think engineering through, like you not thinking through your comment. Because it's not related to what I said.

@ThatGMoney @ZacksJerryRig My guy, a good portion of that is profit. My point was that other revenue streams will be found

@Griffin_Too @ZacksJerryRig Revenue is not profit, my guy, and I said SpaceX (the entire company) was only marginally profitable. Starlink is a very profitable division of SpaceX, and the only reason the overall company had a profit. Once xAI was “acquired,” SpaceX went negative.

@ThatGMoney @ZacksJerryRig Marginally profitable as in Starlink having 1.5 billion in profit last year. The Anthropic deal will bring in 1.25 billion of revenue a month. xAI will be a big drain, but you are not serious. It's fine if you don't like Elon

@Griffin_Too @ZacksJerryRig SpaceX was marginally profitable before Elmo ordered it to absorb the boat anchor that is xAI. Now it loses tens of billions of dollars per quarter.

@Griffin_Too I think the future is everyone adopting open models and the computer happening locally on device, not in datacenters.

@BHenny504 There is absolutely a circle jerk, I don't think consumer versions will survive without being heavily neutered. I don't believe AI is SpaceX's main business right now

@Griffin_Too I just don't see it being enough to offset the cash burn from xAI. On top of that, those contracts can be cancelled
