@FabrizioRomano Classy reply from VC, and I think many people miss the nuance that Arteta was not talking about the number of games but rather the quality of the opposition in the Prem. There are no easy games where a team can comfortably rotate. Most other leagues are extremely top heavy.

Whatever your thoughts on Rosenior. He had to take this job, it was too big to turn down. As much as some of his comments/methods seemed bizarre it’s the Chelsea ownership who should be criticised here. These 'ambitious' clubs like Chelsea, Man United & Spurs keep sacking managers like it's the solution to all their problems. The most ambitious thing they've done in the last 5 years is fight for 4th - 7th place while pretending they're still big clubs. Sacking managers don't fix rotten structures or delusional club boards. It just gives the next victim a shorter honeymoon before the same cycle repeats. Ambition without competency is just expensive chaos to always stay mid-table.
