👀 This woman knocks on her retired neighbor’s door asking what happened to the car that was parked in front of her house.
The neighbor tells her it was towed because she thought it was abandoned. The woman explains it was her sister’s car — they went on vacation to Disney World and her sister couldn’t park in front of her own house because her other neighbors park there.

This dude was pulled over for a headlight violation.
During the stop the officer involved demands to see the ID of the passenger ( his wife). The response from the driver is no, she was not driving.
The officer involved throws out that Alabama is a stop and ID state. (Alabama Code § 15-5-30:) This state law allows officers to demand the name, address, and an explanation from someone in a public place if they reasonably suspect the person is committing or about to commit a crime.
The driver’s argument rests on the principle that while he (the driver) is required to provide a license for a traffic violation, a passenger typically does not have to provide identification unless there is "reasonable articulable suspicion" that they have committed a crime.
The Driver’s Stance: He correctly asserts that as the driver, he is the one being investigated for the headlight, and since the passenger has not committed a violation, the officer's authority to demand her ID is limited.
Also Social Security Request: The driver also challenges the officer's demand for his Social Security number, citing federal privacy protections.
In short the driver schooled these officers which is why he is quickly sent on his way once they see he knows his rights.

🚨Heavy Handed removal of retiree benefits: A retired LCDR was just banned from all Navy bases and facilities in the Hampton Roads area for accidentally having a personal weapon in his vehicle at the base gate checkpoint. The retired naval officer has a Concealed Carry Permit. He also followed all directions provided to him by base security while voluntarily discussing his CC permit and noting that he had mistakenly had the weapon in his vehicle. Security suggested he turn around and come back without the weapon. He did so gladly and immediately returned back through the same gate (without the weapon of course) while the same security guards offered apologies for the inconvenience. The subsequent ban was an unexpected shock and a grave heavy-handed response to an honest mistake. The JAGs and Commander at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek have unilaterally removed all retiree benefits (except retiree pay) from an honorable man. He can no longer attend base functions, work a job on the base, use MWR facilities, or the commissary (military grocery store). Based on Secretary @PeteHegseth’s desire to ensure Second Amendment rights are defended by our Institutions, and that those exercising these rights are not unlawfully weaponized against, I pray this ban is quickly reversed.

I normally don't respond to stuff like this. When I see negative posts from people who have no idea what its like to live a life with PI. There are so many people out there living with primary immune deficiency. So many people who cannot leave their homes or their beds. So many people who struggle to find a normal life struggle to do the most basic human things.
I got lucky enough to have a community that supported me. They helped me crawl out of a deep hole that I feared I could never get out of. Without them I would not be here today. I also got lucky to have found such a wonderful friend who isn't afraid to do cringe silly stuff that may seem weird to some but to me it means the world. Now I am finally able to do things I never thought I would ever get to do.
If i can just give one person with my disease or any other debilitating illness out there a bit of hope and a bit of happiness. I am happy. Please know you are not alone and somehow you too can find a way to take back your life and live your life your way. Donate plasma if you can and support the @immunedeficienC if you can.
