We were just responding to your opinion bc it seemed like you were putting words in our mouths 😅 in no way shape or form did we say life was over when having kids 🤣 It felt like it needed explained bc your comment/opinion made no sense if you listened to what we said. It came off as we think or that we said life is over, kids are a burden therefore I can’t do things I want anymore. & I did this, this & this to make it work so if I can do it anyone can…so ya I felt the need to say I’m happy for you & that it worked out but some people still might not even be able to do that then you’re like coming at us for no reason again 😅 Mansplaining is crazy…

I’m so confused…😅 we were just responding to your comment bc it seemed like you may have misunderstood or something bc at no point did we ever say that life was over once you had kids 😂 You made it seem like we did & that having kids sucks or something when we actually said the complete opposite & that if you can do it anyone can…or at least that’s how I took it. So I pointed out that it’s awesome that you were able to & said I was stoked for you but everyone’s lives are also very different… So I’m like genuinely confused here when all we were doing was explaining to you that we did not say what was implied by your comment at all & why what may work for you doesn’t necessarily work for us bc it literally seemed like you didn’t even listen to what we said in the video or watch the episode & just chose to throw out a comment 😅

I never said that it did lol I just said I prioritized my family over everything else & that for me personally finding that extra time was pretty difficult. Life is different for everyone especially when it comes to free time in schedules. I had several other things going on aside from trying to stream or make content & I chose all of the others & I’m able to find some extra time now that I couldn’t before for various reasons. Content was never my like do or die career so it got put on the back burner for more important things. I’m glad you were able to do so & I literally watched it all happen & watched you grind ever since we met but content was also your passion & you wanted to do it full time so it made sense. I’m actually stoked for you & to see what you have accomplished & been able to do! For me & other things in my life though it was not that top priority it was just fun for me & another hobby & I’m glad I’m starting to find some extra time here & there to do it all again!

Your life doesn’t end when you have kids. It’s all about balance and time management. I worked a full time job, spent time with my son after, streamed when he went to bed, and edited before he woke up. Now I’m a full time streamer and content creator. It’s hard work but it doesn’t stop once you have a family. It’s all about managing multiple priorities.

It's crazy how much more meaningful a comment on a long form YouTube video feels than a comment on a short form video, and I'm not sure even why. Maybe it's because I know they just gave me 10+ mins of their time vs. 30 seconds? Idk. Just hits different though. Way different.

I finally got to finish @bertkreischer’s show #FreeBert & it was actually incredible! I loved every minute of it & didn’t want to stop watching from the first episode! Bert you accomplished exactly what you set out to do because I heard you talk about it with Tom & I think this show hit the nail on the head! I went into the show not really knowing what to expect thinking it was just gonna be funny (& it was!) but man the story was actually great too & I thought the whole thing was done very well! 10/10 recommend for anyone who hasn’t seen & it’s only 6 episodes but make sure you have time bc you’ll wanna binge it for sure! 🤙🏻

100% & in doing so I’ve been listening to podcasts & stuff too & I really like Josh Howerton & his take on things & the stuff he shares a lot as just one example but after learning more & more & going to church again consistently & with actual intent as well, it has all basically led to me being like why didn’t I ever do all this sooner? But in the grand scheme of things I think it was just my time & a series of things leading me to want it more & understand more as well or something idk. Things were just hitting me differently & it made no sense to me but I followed what felt right & where I felt it was pulling me & I couldn’t be more thankful that I did & that I listened to it. Even made the decision to get baptized for the first time ever back in November!

My roommate and lifting partner in college was an ardent atheist. I've been a devout Christian my entire life. We spent every waking moment together, from the dorm room to the gym. I truly loved him like a brother. After school ended, we went our separate ways and talked, at most, once a year. He called me the other day to let me know he was having twins. This was literally one year after my Wife and I had ours. In addition to the news of the babies, he let me know that he had dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. I wept. We debated theology constantly in school. He would go with me to church every once in a while because he said he liked the "hot girls." I didn't care, I just wanted him to sit under hot Gospel preaching. I felt like I failed him in a lot of ways. My answers weren't always the most buttoned up, and although I was living for the Lord, he still saw my sin daily. Hearing his testimony, I was reminded that I have no power to save. It is the Lord's and His alone. Let me encourage you to not grow weary in doing good. You may not see the fruit of your efforts for years, or ever at all. But, seeing the fruit is not your duty. Planting and watering it is.
