Throughout last few years I have gotten maybe a dozen messages from Europeans telling me how much they *were* excited for the Xiaomi/Oppo/Vivo flagship, but find the [1400 to 1800 euro] pricing "ridiculous", "absurd". And they seem almost offended and incredulous by the prices

@bencsin For me a reasonable price for a mob phone 📲 is 799€ so paying today 900+ for a OP last year flagship is already far from being fine. So yeah, paying 1450 for a xiaomi 17 ultra or even 1599(?) for a vivo or oppo (still don't see 👀em in f 🇪🇺)

Oh, forgot to mention something about the vivo X300 Ultra that should've been in this review. I'll just briefly explain them here. --------- 1. Selfie camera Very good quality for photos, and videos are nice too. But, the focal length is much narrower than the one on the X300 and X300 Pro (24 mm vs 20 mm). It's just sad, because they have upgraded the sensor from ISOCELL JN1 to JN5 here (with a similar sensor size). Below, you can see some low-light selfie samples with an artificial lighting and the face being lit with a cold-ish light source (auto and portrait modes).

Even though I absolutely love OriginOS 6, there are some visual drawbacks that I’d like them to fix in the next version. One of them is how a group of notifications from a certain app is reversed in order. For example, when a person sent you several messages in this order: A B C It will appear as: C B A That just makes things confusing, and it takes time to get used to that if you’re already familiar with how notifications usually appear on your non-vivo phones. Aside from that, I still don’t get why the vivo Sans font is not enabled by default. You have to go to the display settings to change it. The default style is just not as elegant as vivo Sans. This is something that’s quite important to me, considering you see this font in almost every single part of the phone’s display when you use it. Other than those visual issues, It’s a pity that they are not bringing the AI Audio Noise Eraser feature from the V70 here, especially considering the fact that it is a video-focused phone. Yes, the new microphone features are truly awesome, but it would've been great to have options. Despite that, OriginOS 6 is one of my favourite Android skins out there, and that’s why I am comfortable using a vivo phone as my daily driver now.
