@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities Interesting. Don't you think there is a middle ground? A society where you can be free to be you and still want to have a strongly connected society and community without it becoming a nationalist group mentality.

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities 2 Then I realised that our people have built this country from nothing. Sacrificed themselves to defend it and our values for centuries. Being individualist in a world full of collective, oppositional groups will lead to our downfall.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities Again, I don't think in numbers. If we have criminal foreigners without Danish passports, and there is no risk for them to be sent home, then I am not opposed to that.

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities I feel like you’re performing mental gymnastics to not address my point here. You say the data is old. But do you truly believe it has changed significantly since? And what percentage would you accept before saying “Aight this group poses too much of a risk”

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities SoMe and it’s algorithm bias is a part of the reason people are leaving the middle and turning far right and far left. That’s surely true. And Danes would call me far right. But it’s better Han far wrong! 😉 Let me think on the question. What events had the most influence on me

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities Trying to determine how an individual from an ethnic group is based on a negative generalisation of how the group is - that is, the foundation of racism

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities Determining what nationalities should be allowed in based on the average performance of their countrymen isn’t racist. I am very discriminatory and I do not find Islam compatible with Danish values. But it has nothing to do with race

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities What made you change your view? You seem like a bright guy that have been frightened by a right-wing perspective that occurs a lot on the internet. Where legit problems are being enhanced x100 and make people really black and white in their thinking.

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities I know of the main claims. I’ve been a libertarian I understand his point. But with oppositional forces out there having strong identities we have to do the same. The army taught me that much.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities Okay, however, this is not at all what I got from living there and talking to people, quite the opposite. I can see the AI has used a Facebook source.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities If 10% is enough, then you are opposed to my beginning point, with not looking at individuals but at groups. Sorry to say it, but we have had a reasonable discussion, and I don't throw words around easily. But this is straight-up racism.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities You should really read Imagined Communities by Benedict Anderson. I don't expect you to agree with all the books say, but I think it could give you something to reflect over.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities It is also a lot of generalisation on your part. I guess it is a minority of Danish muslims that crosses all those four boxes.

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities If they want to live with a Muslim lifestyle (women should cover up, not shake hands with men, honour should be defended with violence, don’t mock the prophet), then they shouldn’t come here. And even more importantly, we shouldn’t allow them in.

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities I know you want to make excuses for them. Explain why they are as they are. But no Muslim nation has produced migrants to Europe, that are not over represented in crime statistics. And it isn’t my responsibility to house them and accommodate their culture.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities They have been racist af. However, it is changing with the new generation, as they can see that they can't keep the wheels running by themselves. I met surprisingly many Nepalese folks in Tokyo.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities Number three, respect yes, adobt, to a degree. However, you can't ask people to 100% assimilate. People will always be affected about where they come from. It is totally okay to prefer Shawarma over Flæskesteg.

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities If I was to make a list of important qualification before importing people: - believe in freedom (no laws on trash talking prophets or burning books) - be financial beneficial for the country - respect and adopt Danish norms and customs - no strong ethnic group identity

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities Culture and values are a mix of so many things. Living in Japan, I experienced people have a lot of values like "be kind to your next" and "you are not better than community" which is mistakenly called Christian values, when it is humanistic values that came way before religion.

@GrooveProvider @HamasAtrocities I don’t mind us becoming less Christian. As long as the values live. That being freedom and equality. I don’t want our democracy to be influenced by people who do not believe in gender equality or freedom of speech.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities I see many places in Africa and the States where Christians don't value gender equality (many do). Therefore, I don't see it is christian values that make up the Danish culture. It is a mix of our Viking background, Christianity, and just a lot of historical events.

@Maximus762399 @HamasAtrocities I think what should bind us together is democracy, knowledge, and laws; after that, religion should be a personal choice that people should be able to choose freely.
