Our latest grantee blog, courtesy of Groove With Me (@GrooveWithMeInc), explores how their weekly offering of more than 40 dance classes helps girls and young women express themselves, build confidence, and imagine what’s possible in the studio, classroom, and everyday life.

In 1996, Groove With Me started offering free dance classes for girls in East Harlem so they’d have a safe place to grow, create, and build confidence. 💃 30 years later, we’re celebrating that journey on @KellyClarksonTV

Groove With Me is a tiny nonprofit so obviously minuscule to the scale of what’s going on. But we can’t get the funds we’ve secured from city contracts. So, I have no love for the city today……as well…..

Ok I have watched this at least ten times: Kamala Harris uses sign language to say she supports ending language deprivation for deaf kids. This is why I love Kamala Harris.
