At the age of 52 I decided to free myself from this voluntary debt slavery I sold most everything and downsized to a 24 camper and started living my life again free of the 40+ hour work week just to get by I've been traveling the north west coast, Haida Gwaii and Yukon doing odd jobs and living free of the alarm clock and cell phone notifications that used to make the anxiety spike. 3 years later and I don't regret a second of it.

Making use of what is available Old Mastercraft planer died so i'm stripping it for components and repurposing the base on the new Dewalt

@OliverRCote I always go for the rust free versions where I can. It's nice not having to worry so much about finish with the hard satin chrome finish.

I bought the earlier version but it has no side gate loading.

@Grantoffgrid54 this is how my chinking came out using a spoon to compress and flatten chinking. Chase spoon with trowel to catch excess as you run the seam

@MommaHood2 punishing violence and fear with violence was something that I struggled with in my 20's. I went back at 21 after 5 years and repaid him in kind. Spent the night in jail for it but did relish the fact that as he was cowering in the closet calling 911 he knew what fear I survived

When a caregiver tries to kill you as a child, your brain internalizes a terrifying rule: "People who are supposed to love me are dangerous and broken" As an adult your system subconsciously screens for "damaged" people because a stable calm person feels foreign and unpredictable

@MommaHood2 I survived being thrown headfirst through a metal screen and wooden door behind it. My uncious body was locked in the outdoor garbage bin for two days after. Im sure others did not fare so well. Children deserve ❤️ Im grateful 🙏 to still be here.
