Pinch hitting one of your best hitters with the bases loaded while also letting one of your worst hitters bat in the same inning is probably the craziest thing I’ve seen a manager do in my lifetime watching this sport

The NCAA has announced tampering violations occured at Iowa under head coach Kirk Ferentz. Penalties include vacated wins, a fine and a handful of recruiting restrictions. ncaa.org/news/2026/4/14…

Tough, tough day for the normally-great CBS broadcast. Worst Masters coverage in recent memory…soooo much Andrew Catalon, Nantz felt mia, IBF sorely missed, impactful shots of notable players nowhere to be found, total fail on the 72nd hole. Underwhelming, run-of-the mill feel

Would Michigan have probably beaten UConn anyway if the fouls were skewed evenly? Yes.
Is Michigan a deserving champion? Yes.
Was UConn squeezed in the first half? Again, yes.
Should Breeding and Anderson have been on the whistle? No.
