@JoelSercel are there solutions to air leakage in open space vs planets? We have not solved for large pressurized structures in regards to leakage, or are there solutions or logistics to import Nitrogen or other inerts we can import? Planets can hold gases and off vent gases.

@13ericralph31 @elonmusk Could increase ISRU development by $43billion and actually bootstrap civilization from a can independent of Earth's resources. Explain how more mass on Mars makes it critically self sufficient at some magical million person mark? It should be process driven not mass from Earth.

Fun fact: for less than the cost of @elonmusk's $43B Twitter bid, he could singlehandedly fund an entire decade of NASA planetary exploration or more than double what could be accomplished in the same period :)

@DrPhiltill How about use of fine mesh wire gabion cages? Filled with mostly large rocks. Almost like landing on secured gravel bed.

Spent all day performing economics simulations of lunar landing pad construction plus physics-based simulations of microwaving lunar soil, with the latter informing the former. I'm exhausted.
