In the latest development from the Texas special session, it appears 15 house democrats have left the state in opposition to a redistricting vote. How does this affect the hemp industry and SB5? The house requires a certain number of votes in order to proceed with passing bills. We’ll see if this will delay SB5 moving through the house, so keep an eye out for any further developments!

Texas should not ban THC in hemp while also trying to expand the TCUP program. THC in hemp is no different than THC in cannabis. The only difference is big pharma and donors have interest in cannabis.

If THC is so dangerous, why are Texas politicians forcing people out of hemp and into TCUP? Wouldn’t medically legal product be just the same as nationally legal hemp? Both contain THC except one isnt funneled through the medical complex and doesn’t strip your right to firearms

Regulating THC for 21+ in TX is a backdoor way to legalize recreational marijuana. Law enforcement is against regulation & supports a full ban. Texas has a robust program for those in need of medical THC for cancer, PTSD, & other issues.
