@free_equal Why should all the people just working hard to pay taxes and raise a family "celebrate" someone that is so self infatuated that they require society to bend to their delusion?

NT Police have arrested Jefferson Lewis for the alleged abduction, r*pe & murder of Kumanjayi Little Baby. He was found Thursday night at Charles Creek Town Camp in Alice Springs. Locals reportedly attacked & beat him before his arrest. Lewis was hospitalised as an angry crowd gathered outside, with police using tear gas to disperse them.

@AussieBotStudio My grandmothers son was raised as his brother due to the circumstances back then, she never told him, but he was fully aware after discovering it via records.

Here's the truth they don’t teach you in school or the media. Back in the day, Australia was straight-up ripping babies from single mums — mostly young white working-class girls. From the 1940s to the 80s, there were tens of thousands of forced adoptions. Hospitals, churches and welfare workers drugged the mothers, forged their signatures, told them their baby had died at birth… all to hand the kids over to “respectable” married couples. There were also the Forgotten Australians — hundreds of thousands of mostly non-Indigenous kids dumped in institutions and often abused. Then the 1970s came and we completely flipped the script. We started handing out welfare payments, encouraging single motherhood. Now we subsidise it, celebrate it, and act like it’s empowering. But the forced adoptions story — the “white stolen generations” — gets almost zero airtime. One quick apology in 2013 and it’s buried. Why the selective memory? Because admitting the same authorities were brutal to poor white families too wrecks the neat narrative that only one group suffered and that “whiteness” is the root of all evil. They ignore it on purpose. It doesn’t serve the agenda of white hatred and division. Same country, same era, same state overreach — but only certain victims count. We should remember ALL of it. Not just the parts that fit today’s politics.
Don't you worry about that.🇦🇺@Sauronlordking

I think this money could be better spent.

@deluxe_fox @TopherField @jasontwebster Its also against the law to neglect children, but we give a certain group a pass so that we don't get accused of another "stolen" generation. So if we can be selective there, why can't we be selective here too? The answer is that law should be applied the same way for all ofus

Let me aske the un-askable question. If respecting indigenous culture is so important, why are white, oppressive colonisers denying indigenous Australians their version of justice? The victim is indigenous, the accused is indigenous, the crime was in an indigenous community, and the mob gathered outside the hospital is made up mostly or perhaps entirely of indigenous people... But we're imposing white-man, colonial, oppressive ideas like... 'innocent until proven guilty', like a 'jury of your peers', like having a day in court and a proper defence and not being murdered before trial by a mob of angry locals. Where are the lefties who supported the voice? The ones who condemn us if we question the 'welcome to country'? Those who insist that indigenous culture is inherently virtuous because it got here first... and English civilisation is inherently evil because it took over later? Where are they? When will they speak up in support of handing the accused over to the angry mob? Because right now members of the indigenous community would like to carry out their culturally appropriate form of justice in this case, and it's the evil white man who is stopping them. How dare we!?! But actually the real question is this... if we're all going to agree that western justice is more civilized, that mob justice isn't acceptable even in such an emotionally charged case as this one... then doesn't that means we should also be allowed to ask whether perhaps western civilisation is better in other ways too? Doesn't it beg the question whether English civilisation actually improved Australia? And if not... then why not just hand the accused over the mob? It would stop the riots after all... Yeah, I know, I'm 'evil' just for pointing out the hypocrisy, come at me in the comments.

@asdfqwer123 @TopherField Im pretty sure that is the exact position he is trying to highlight, and the use of "oppressive" was pretty clearly sarcastic. The point he is making is that the culture we are putting on a pedestal and being forced to worship, may not be all it is cracked up to be.

@TopherField oppressive ideas like... 'innocent until proven guilty' You should shut the fuck up. I rarely say that to anyone but you’re a massive moron with very little understanding of this problem Violence is the root of most aboriginal problems more tribal violence is not the solution

@Donalds25647148 @Lisa9Sophia We can respect the grieving family and seek to prevent this happening again at the same time. But if we needed to choose, prevention is more important than feelings in this instance.

Special Air Service (SAS) soldiers are resigning in significant numbers over fears they will be subjected to “witch hunts” by human rights lawyers. (Telegraph) Is this what the Government wanted all along? Get rid of Aussie soldiers & replace them with a foreign army with no loyalty to our people or nation? Easier to send out a foreign army against citizens when an inevitable civil war breaks out. These same tactics are being used across the West. This is not a coincidence.

@Tam85414 @AshfordAu @DanishDayle @TruthFairy131 That expectation has always been implicit and still exists. Being charged 10 years down the track based on the hearsay evidence of possible enemy affiliated "witnesses", with no physical evidence or preserved crime scene is where the trouble starts.

@AshfordAu @DanishDayle @TruthFairy131 I don't think they are quitting to seek immunity from past crimes, more the constraints placed upon them doing their job. They object to being investigated by a panel of bureaucrats relying heavily on evidence given by potentially enemy affiliated "witnesses" years after the fact

@Grubbernaught @DanishDayle @TruthFairy131 But as can be seen with BRS, resigning, retiring does not make you exempt from prosecution for war crimes. Nuremberg and the Wiesenthal Centre make that abundantly clear! So the story is just BS!

@CalvinBart69984 @OzraeliAvi Not specifically, but if it is how you describe, it would not be in line with core Christian values. Unfortunately, as society becomes more secular, foreign policy becomes less guided by them. Not sure what ON had to do with this though, they they've never had the seats before

@CalvinBart69984 @OzraeliAvi In amongst all the shit you just said, the ports are a fair point. I don't trust libs or commies (labour + greens), they are all fingers of the same glove. I think our political system is geared towards agenda rather than helping the Australian people, ON could steer it back.

@DanishDayle @TruthFairy131 Did not realise that until you pointed it out, thanks. My assumption would be that if its happening in the UK it must be happening to an extent in Aus, especially considering recent events. We cannot easily replace these men, or the operational experience they carry. Huge loss.
