Completely unrelated, but I was once given a bottle of whiskey for helping close a multi-million dollar deal with a Saudi oil company with parts I designed. At the time I was delighted. I later realized that the sales guy who got me the whiskey had gotten a commission on that deal worth more than my yearly salary. All he did was show them a brochure of parts I designed. Fuck sales.
