Dan, I see what you are doing. Suella and Robert were ministers and they are responsible for that department and the PM is ultimately responsible for them, so I take your point. But I'm sure you will accept that they almost certainly wouldn't have personally done this - it's the entire system which we all know is influenced by the ECHR. Suella and Jenrick *obviously* did not have the power individually to take us out of the ECHR, or legislate by themselves to mitigate against it, so the Home Office will carry on doing this - just as it is now. That is a collective failure of the Tory party, of which they were a part of, so again I take your point. But they both tried to fix it and were blocked which ultimately led to them both apologising and leaving the party. Which is admirable. Something you seem to conveniently forget.

OK, this is significant. It appears the alleged Belfast attacker was actually fast-tracked through the asylum process by Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick. I've just found the following letter from Jenrick to the UK statistical authority on 17 April, 2023 It says: "We are taking urgent action to accelerate decision-making and speed up processing times.
