@joncoupland Quite good choices there for all ages. If am young; XR2i. If am modern; Calibra (although base model). If am 40 something, maybe the Rover 800. Looking at it now, oddly the 360GLT, but that Micra was acclaimed and is ripe for picking off the forecourt.

One guy upon understanding me, apologised which I thought was commendable. The one that referred 5o me as a tit has not apologised giving me a sense of his character.

@sophieebrearley I agree, but also feel your sentiment can be applied to literally everything. Nothing lasts forever and our mindset changes as we grow old.

Sometimes I see old clips and miss that era of F1 Everything has changed, in both good and bad ways. A completely different sport to what it is today. Gives me mixed emotions in looking back at things from when I was younger 🏎

Red Bull and Porsche have just swerved a repeat of the Williams BMW misfire IMHO. There can only be one senior partner & clear leadership structure in an F1 team. Otherwise it becomes a mess for both very quickly. There’s a clear alternative for Porsche to pursue. #F1
