I can’t guarantee much, but I can guarantee this. If Kamala Harris — or Joe Biden, for that matter — was President today, I guarantee we would not be at war with Iran, our economy would be much stronger, the US would be more respected & the world would be safer and more peaceful.

The cuts at the Post are devastating, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. To state the obvious, there's no reason to be sympathetic to Bezos or any of the other leaders there. The paper's influence really cratered following the editorial shifts in 2024/25.

Mizzou going to the SEC has been one of the greatest mistakes visited upon our Great State in the last 100 years. The ignominy of finishing at the bottom of a (now-) middling Conference year after year is just too much for this Show-Me Stater to bear. Trump basically admitted there is a housing bubble in the U.S. He also admitted his main policy goal is to prevent it from popping. But once you recognize a bubble, the worst thing you can do is try to sustain it. The sooner it bursts, the less damage it will ultimately cause.

Something I do:
Even when I’ve met someone once or twice, I still reintroduce myself — first and last name. Makes it easier on the other person. The worst is having to say “nice seeing you” because you aren’t sure whether you’ve met the person before.
