The time has come... to begin Marineford ⚓️ Since I started watching in November, the two arcs everyone has hyped up were Enies Lobby and Marineford. Lord have mercy if this is even a fraction as good as Enies Lobby I will be so happy. HERE WE GO!

Am I the only one who feels like Elbaph has been a confusing arc? I read and am currently watching it, but I feel like there have been some continuity issues. Maybe, i just need to reread?

@YUNGJEFF The cover stories and sbs are important. Like Zoro’s family tree gets revealed in the manga sbs, but not the anime. Usually sbs info is just extra context and I don’t consider them spoilers. The covers are pretty much the same with a few exceptions

Question for my One Piece enjoyers:
(Might delete this later, just curious what yall think) What’s the best way to go about FULLY experiencing the story on first watch besides just watching the anime? I’ve read like 2 of the cover stories not all, nor watched any movies.
I guess my main question is does it take away anything from just watching the anime or only add?
If it adds: should I go back right now and read all the cover stories/watch all the movies that I missed? Or is there a good stopping point later on I can do that?

@YUNGJEFF I would recommend rewatching certain arcs after catching up. Skypiea and little garden are some that make you realize so many hidden details.

@YUNGJEFF Great video. You should do these by sagas. I would say look up one piece sagas but idk if that would spoil future ones. Just do skypeia (jaya and skypeia) next. Then water 7/enies lobby/post enies lobby

@YUNGJEFF In my opinion, dubbed is way better in the beginning with the humor coming off a bit better. There are some voice actors that just sound horrendous in the Japanese subbed compared to the english va. I recommend the switch but way later in the story.

It’s come to my attention that when new One Piece episodes are released, dub versions don’t come out for weeks/months later…
So eventually I’d have to switch…
No point to delay the inevitable, I’m switching to sub.
