College OT sucks and is antithetical of what wrestling should be about. It makes the lamest part of wrestling (riding time) the most important.

Alumni involvement has always been a pillar of our program. Calder Sheehan had spring break this week, popped into multiple workouts, AND did extra after each one. For our athletes to see that… it’s irreplaceable.

I’d like to see data on guys that default out of conference tournaments in the national championships… Is it worth it? Do folks put it together? Or are we delaying the inevitable?

Just shy of 20 girls into practice tonight from at least 8 schools in SE MN!

36 athletes from something like 9/10 schools in tonight for SE MN RTS. All sorts of clubs represented. The goal is more athletes on the podium at Fargo. We absolutely can do it down here.

With the closing of many schools, we will not be hosting practice tonight. RTS practice is still on at RCTC tomorrow. Girls Only Clinic is still on at RCTC on Wednesday. Chatfield will host practice on Thursday. Thank you for understanding!

With a big heavyweight headlock, Cito Tuttle bounces back for 5th Place, earning All-American status for the second time. What a ride. They don’t make em like the Tuttle’s anymore.

The Hive™️ brings 2 AA’s into the NJCAA Championships today. Cito is in the semis, and Gunnar Johnson is alive on the backside. We’ve managed to turn the D3 Team race into a fight. It’s a beautiful day to be stuck in a pressure cooker of an arena.

Second session down at NJCAA Nationals brings 6 members of The Hive™️ in. 3 are in the quarters, and 3 are wrestling through consolations!

2026 NJCAA National Championships kick off in about 20min in Council Bluffs, IA. The Hive™️ brings 9 into the tournament!

To give you an idea of how tough NJCAA HWT is this year, the 11 seed is a D1 bounce back who was willing to sit a year behind last year’s champ. The 1 seed is a 34 year old from Pakistan who’s wrestled Senior Asian Championships multiple times.
