@CarlWeische @EcomJamie Have seen other tests where you also suggest putting image thumbnails in the nav. Have you tested right vs. left image placement? If so, does one side outperform?

@CarlWeische @CarlWeische - Mostly agree. But sample size requirements depend on the baseline conversion rate and Minimal Detectable Effect (MDE) -- the conversion lift you're hoping to see. The experiment needs to be adequately powered to detect the effect at <95% statistical significance.

Let's start with some rules of thumb for data:
1. You need a minimum of 1000 orders per Variant
2. You need around 20,000-50,000 users per Variant (depending on increase in CVR)
3. You need a minimum of 95% statistical significance

I see a lot of CRO Agencies do one MAJOR mistake which makes their work completely worthless:
They run a Test and evaluate results without hitting statistical significance.
