You've connected 15 tools to your agents. The agents kinda work. But there's no visibility into which agent connects to what. No rate limiting. No audit trail. No way to revoke access without breaking everything. That's the dirty secret of agent extensibility: connecting agents to tools is easy. Doing it safely is not. That's where a control plane comes in. Bring Your Own Integration (BYOI) is Guild's extensibility model: → Register any REST/HTTP endpoint as an agent tool → Build with an open-source TypeScript SDK → Govern credentials, policies, and observability in one place If your team has an API, it can become an agent tool — with scoped access and a full audit trail. Agents are easy to build. Running them safely in production is the hard part. This is where the idea of an AI agent control plane comes in. Check out Guild’s latest post, breaking down what it all means. Read Here ⬇️ guild.ai/knowledge/prod…

Today, we're opening Guild to everyone. AI agents are already in production. Reviewing code. Triaging tickets. Orchestrating workflows. The hard part isn't building agents anymore. It's controlling them once they're loose in your system. That's not a problem better models can solve. We need better infrastructure. Guild is the control plane for AI agents — a new management layer that lets you manage any agent, across any model. → Deploy production-ready agents in minutes → Control access to context and data at scale → See every action, by every agent, in real time → Share governed agents across your team and beyond Works wherever you do — GitHub, Jira, Slack, Notion, and more. If you're building agents for production, our open beta is live. guild.ai

Thanks for the thoughtful write-up, @ntanis_kou — and for taking the time to show the workflow end-to-end. Excited to see where you take it next!
Dimitris Kountanis@ntanis_kou

Got early access to @GuildAI and used it to build an issue-to-plan agent. Feed it a GitHub issue, it maps the repo and returns a proper implementation plan. Tried it on a real task (@triggerdotdev cron job + AI pipeline) and it cuts a big part of the plan step. Feels like that layer is starting to disappear as well.

Join us at the Guild office in San Francisco for a hands-on session on the control plane for AI agents. We'll show how agents actually run in production, then live-code an open-source workflow from scratch. Mostly code. A few slides. No theory. For engineers shipping code, maintaining a project, or figuring out what agents can actually do. Space is limited. RSVP to Guild's first Guild's Forge event: luma.com/bjsqe9se

The Deep View@theDeepView

What happens when a startup's mission perfectly aligns with the biggest trend in tech? That's exactly where Guild AI finds itself in 2026. James Everingham, CEO of Guild AI, joins The Deep View Conversations to talk about building a safety layer for AI agents. The product launched in fall 2025 and just months later found itself near the center of the most important movement in enterprise AI. In this conversation, James breaks down how Guild's platform deploys dozens of workflow-specific agents across different parts of a business, while giving developers the tools to iterate, spin up custom agents, and operate in a safe environment that tracks everything agents do and protects companies from unpredictable outcomes. Topics covered: + The enduring power of bottom-up innovation + How Guild AI's agent supervision platform works + Why safety infrastructure is the new competitive moat + Lessons from James' earlier career at Netscape and Meta + Open-source vs. proprietary models: how it plays out over the next few years + A standout leadership tip for sparking innovation on your team + His best advice for getting maximum impact from today's AI tools. If you want to understand where AI agents are headed and what it takes to build them responsibly, this conversation is a powerful place to start. 📺 Watch on YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=ANhHst… 🎧 Listen in your favorite podcast player: tdv.transistor.fm/episodes/37-th… Subscribe for weekly conversations with the leaders shaping the future of AI. Your flash sale is live. Tickets start flooding in. "Charged but no order." Then another. Then another. 23 customers. Zero fulfillment. Revenue is bleeding and nobody knows why. A Guild agent picks it up. Searches Jira, queries New Relic, finds the exact buggy line in GitHub. Root cause, blast radius, recovery plan — delivered to the on-call engineer in 52 seconds. 8 agents. 4 integrations. One control plane.
